When I lived in Ohio, we routinely dropped below zero degrees. The coldest I remember was -30 F. That whole week, the temps never got above 0. They closed all the schools, which as a 9th grader, I loved, but my parents wouldn't let me go outside of course.
Anyways, my porh thermometer read 14 yesterday morning. That's the coldest it's read, since I moved down here in 2005. Definitely much better than Ohio. Heck, my mom still lives in the suburbs east of Cleveland, and last April, she sent me pictures of her dog playing in a foot and half of snow on Easter Sunday. Hence, that is why I moved here. There was also 16" of snow the weekend right before I moved down here, and that was in late April of 2005.
