Hi, I am looking for a month-to-month rental place for a month. My current lease expires on Jan 11th & need a place for a month since I may move out of Charlotte after that. Family includes 5 year old daughter, Wife & I.

Need 2 bedroom apt or home.

Any suggestions ?
Thanks

It will be tough to find month-to-month. The point in a lease to may sure the place stays rented because when someone up and moves out, that is a loss of income until the place is rented again.

I think many apartments may want at least 3 months but you could call around...I know Bexley has short term leases. Also, Be Relaxed Corporate Housing (your move does not have to be for relocation or corporate related) does offer a minimum 30 day stay option. I am sure you pay more for that option but it may be worth it to you.

Good luck!

My husband was in this situation, and he rented a room from a guy off Craigslist for 1 month. I know that might turn people off (heck, I was like HELL NO at first), but it turned out to be a great thing. There are a lot of options on there. I've seen houses for rent, rooms to rent, etc.

Or, they have the extended stay hotels that'll rent monthly. They were kinda expensive though, like around $900-$1000/month, but ended up renting a room off Craigslist for like $450/month.

Also, someone on here gave me this link, check it out. You might find something here too.

Good luck finding something!

Not many month to month arrangements in Charlotte.

At most you'll find a few places willing to do 3 months.

But check at Atkins Circle Apts in Ballantyne - they may do a month only.

Hello, have you found a place yet? I have a short term Townhome in Ballantyne available after the 10th.

We rented for 3 months at the Colony Apartments behind South Park mall. It was a month to month rental while we sold our house in CA and tried to find a house here.
