Thinking about sending my little cousin to Butler. Any thoughts on Butler?

People regard it as a highly rated school. Where does your cousin go now?

He's relocating from Chicago. Needed a change of pace and is coming to live with me. I always go by Butler and I have heard great things

They rate well too and have been mentioned on national rankings too. I think, US News? Anyhow, good luck hope it works out for you all. Also, you will probably have to go to the main office of CMS schools and get special permission to enroll him since he isn't your child. Try to get a power of attorney over him to be able to take him to doctors, give permission etc. A temporary guardianship is even better. I had to do this for a couple of family members that lived with us and was in school.

I teach there, and I think it is a great school. PM if you have specific questions.

My son went there - graduated 7 years ago and my daughter goes there now. It's much different now than it was when my son went, but it's a great school. There is a new principal there this year who is outstanding - I like him much better than those who were there when my son went. It's a big school, so if your cousin has any interests - sports, clubs, band - encourage it. It'll be a much better transition if he/she has a small group to fit into.
