Those areas are very nice...but some people dont prefer to live that far out.

You could also go to the Peninsula Country Club in Cornelius too!

And not to be mean...but going from Eastover to Ballantyne would be a slight step down.

I am relocating to charlotte and I would like a nice area that has a busy feel to it once I come out of the neighbohood. I would like to be centrally located to shopping malls, night clubs and restaruants. Are there any homes for rent in a area of my discription? Are the homes fairly new? Would this area be at least 15-20 minutes to downtown charlotte? What zip codes would be a place for me to start.

One of the best areas for price (return on investment) is Cotswold (SE of Eastover) in Charlotte, in my opinion. Not as high in price when compared to other areas, but still an established area close enough to uptown...
But it is all dependent on your budget as wisely pointed out (as usually) by LovesMountains.
