We moved to the NE Charlotte area in October and are ready to start searching for a church. We were raised Baptist and Methodist respectively, but are open to checking anything out. We are moderately liberal and would like to join a place of worship with similar beliefs. Can anyone recommend some places to check out?

Check out Hawthorne Lane UMC near downtown Charlotte. Very friendly, open-minded church which is attracting many young families.
