Saw a couple of homes in this community. Wanted to know the thoughts of the residents that live there.
I have not lived in an HOA, but the amenities and schools look good!

Just wanted to know if people feel its a hassle to be in an HOA. Since it seems "they" are always watching.
TIA for your opinions!

I live there and have not had trouble with the HOA. I can't tell you if the schools are good or not as I do not have kids. The pool is great in the summer and they now have the adult pool heated, covered, and open in the winter. I was able to get a fence approved without issue a little while after I moved in.

We lived in Moss Creek for two years while waiting to get back into our house (it was rented when we moved out of state). We didn't have any problems while living there. The pool is amazing and I am bummed we missed out on the indoor pool. The neighborhood is loaded with kids. There are quite a few rentals within the neighborhood and I believe last summer they were at the maximum number for rental homes. We did find out last September (after we moved out of the neighborhood) that our across the street neighbor was arrested for some things and he is still in jail.It was in the papers and everything.

Thank you for your response. We are just debating whether we should look into HOA communities for the amenities or if it is best to look into older neighborhoods.
I've just heard of some ppl that have had negative feedback on HOA's, but that could be due to their own decisions. I'm just concerned to live in a spot where I may have my hands tied when I want to make a change.
Thank you for your time!

Here is a link to the Concord Police Departments site that will let you search for accidents, arrests, or incidents. You can specifically look for a subdivision.

Concord Police Department P2C - provided by OSSI
