Hello All -

Coming into town for Easter weekend. What are the things we want to see and/or do?

Trying not to spend TOO much money, but don't mind a little.

Thanks!

A little more information? Just you alone? Children? Indoor activities? Outdoor?

Charlotte Hornets have a home game on Saturday, April 4th. The Knights baseball team plays an exhibition game against the White Sox on Friday, the 3rd (probably already sold out.

Romare Bearden Park is nice, as is Freedom Park. The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art is worth a visit. You also might be interested in the Gantt Museum of African American Art. The National Whitewater Center is fun, and you might enjoy the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens.

There are a couple of local historic houses that can be visited, Rosedale and Latta Plantation. The NASCAR Hall of Fame, if that interests you. Carowinds if you like amusement parks.

Hiking at Crowder's Mountain

Discovery Place and ImagiOn if you have children with you.

Sorry, I guess that would have helped. Two teenagers - 14/16. We're not really sports or NASCAR fans, the hiking sounds interesting and I'll look at the museums and gardens.

Thanks!

Perhaps the OP isn't a christian, nor a believer. People like that do exist, you know.

White water center...they have white water rafting, but also a land pass that let's you do rock climbing, high ropes courses and zip lining.

Hiking up Crowder's mountain is really cool too...just get there before 9 to get a parking spot.

We have definitely decided on White water center as long as it's not raining!

Thanks for the tip on Crowder's Mountain! WILL check it out if not this visit, the next one!
