Hello. I am dating a woman who lives in the Greensboro area. She intends to come to Charlotte area over the weekend and have a good time before going to Europe for a while, so I would like to show her a nice time. What are some fun things for couples to do in Charlotte aside from the regular dinner and movie thing?

- Wine Tasting at local vineyards.
- Take a walk through Freedom Park.
- Visit Exit Strategy and participate in a game (so much fun!)
- Take her through Lazy Five Ranch.

The painting+wine combo is a good idea and there are multiple places that do it throughout the week, all over town. There are also some pottery type of places with a similar "do it yourself" concept.

You could check out some art museums since we have a handful of nice ones.

Perhaps instead of a movie, you could see a local play or concert; Creative Loafing has a good selection for the local arts scene.

Once the rose garden has bloomed, that's a really nice place to be. Very romantic.

Walk through a local neighborhood and browse through a few shops?

Have fun on your date!

Some things are worth waiting for.
The OP will just have to postpone his date until the 28th.
