I am looking to relocate and found a house very reasonable in the woodrige area (28217) and was wondering how that section was. Also, can anyone help me to find a good area (steele creeke i hear is good) with a little land more then .18 . I wanted to be near uptown or south west but don't want to be in a bad crime area.
My price range is well kind of limited 130-180K. Thanks for your hlep;. |

28217 had the highest property crime rate in Charlotte two years ago. I lived there for about 4-5 years and have worked there for 7 years. I would not recommend purchasing a home anywhere in 28217.

Most of Steele Creek is very nice, but there are a few parts having some crime issues right now. In your price range I am not sure that I could recommend anything to you in particular, let me think about it a minute... |

28273 would be the "better" zip code of SW Charlotte.
