Hello,

I am relocating to Charlotte in the fall and I am looking for a large mixed use space to live/work. I have a photography studio and ideally would like to have it downstairs (street level) and live upstairs with my wife and two boys. I lived in Charlotte 10 years ago, but much has changed.

Any suggestions/ websites where I can browse properties?

Bill

Not sure of the name, but they have that in Downtown Cornelius I do believe. Also in NODA.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the suggestions. I wonder what the one in Cornelius is called? I checked the others and will do a drive-thru visit next time I am there with my wife. She is a bit concerned that there won't be any kids at all in a community like that.

In addition, I feel I must warn you - Noda is not the kind of neighborhood I would want to raise my kids in - it is far too transitional and they would be exposed to things most parents wouldn't want their kids exposed to.

I believe the one in Cornelius is Vermilion by looking at the pictures.

Thank you so much for the advice. I kind of figured that when I visited the site, but it is great to get a conformation from someone living there.

It is always so much trickier with kids to find the right place. The right mix of work/live/play/safety/schools etc.

Thanks again,

Bill

Vermillion is in Huntersville at Exit 23 off I-77.

Not sure what the one in downtown Cornelius is. It is directly across from the Police Station. I-77 Exit 28.

Hello loves,

I agree about NODA. Would be an excellent place for a trendy funky young single couple with no kids. Hope you are doing well!
