I just moved. I received a mailer from Time Warner Cable advertising a free cable "sneak peek" - the cable is offered for free for a short time so the new resident can check it out. All you have to do is connect the cable to your tv.

Does anyone know how long they leave it on?

First time I heard it, did you look on their website or call them?

I did look on the website but haven't called yet. I've had to deal with them a lot lately with the move and service changes, and every time I've called I've received a long and irritating hard sales pitch on their various services that serves only to irritate me. I had cancelled cable a few weeks ago at the old house to save money and they acted like that was the most insane thing ever.

Why would you want to deal with them again? I would check out satellite or see if AT&T uverse is in your area. I'm sure that offer is for new customers only.
