We are looking for a non-demoninational, teaching church that has a Pastor that is not seeking in or near the North Charlotte area.

We are not crazy about Elevation at all. We like Pastors that deliver the word directly from The Bible.

We are looking for a multi-cultural, Multi-generational church.

Sorry, I know it is a lot.

Thanks in advance!

Can you explain what a "not seeking pastor" is?

How about Northside Baptist? Their website says:

"The Bible itself is the sole and final source of all that we believe."

Of course that means they can't :

Wear clothing made of two kinds of material.
Eat shrimp or pork.
Let women talk in church.
Cut their hair or beards.
Plant more than one kind of seed in a field.
Live in a city that failed to surrender to the Israelites.

Default Seeking

We do not care for Pastors that are calling out to the church for a response. We are finding that a lot of Pastors are constantly saying "HELLO?", "AMEN?", and even "I'm gonna keep saying it until someone responds"....yeah... do NOT like that. Preach the word man!

Clint Pressley at Hickory Grove does a great job of teaching directly from the Bible. It is a Baptist church, but it is multi-cultural and generational, at least at the North Campus.

You should be looking for a church where you can get plugged in and serve. Which is easier if the church is close to your home etc. All pastors are different, they each have their own styles of presenting the gospel. Try to find the pastor that is the most transparent. The more transparent the more real the church is.

Just my .02

Hickory Grove is a great SBC church.

Good for those Pastors! They are doing what they should.

While we have not attended this church you may like it...this is not endorsement just a simple suggestion. You can listen to sermons online.

Grace Covenant Church

Good luck in your search, finding a church home is tough.

There is a pastor who moved from my favorite church here in Florida to Davidson (northern part of Charlotte). He's great. The church is called The Glasshouse Church. Non denominational!
