Hi All,

I know that USAIR will fly direct but can be pricey. I also know that JetBlue has one (1) direct flight a day and ranges from $79 - $300 one-way depending on availability.

Can anyone tell me what other airlines fly direct from Charlotte to Ft Lauderdale? Are there other budget or small airlines that do?

Also, I would really appreciate it if anyone knows what ground transportation options are available to get from the Charlotte airport to Matthews.

Thanks in advance!!!

Thanks Groove! Thats definitely one to bookmark for later use. :-)
Advance planning would pay off for that one. But, I still need to find airlines that fly from Charlotte.

JetBlue is currently the only budget airline at CLT. I like to use Cheap Airfare, Hotel Rooms and Rental Cars on Yahoo! FareChase. Search dozens of travel sites with one click. (http://www.farechase.yahoo.com - broken link) to get a good idea of prices. Occasionally I will find a lower price elsewhere, but it isn't by much.

If you are flexible there are alternatives to FLL. American and US fly CLT-Miami. US also serves West Palm Beach. US and Jetblue are the only carriers to FLL nonstop.

Unfortunately I can't be so flexible this time around. So I was really looking for Charlotte to FLL, but thanks CRock :-)

Oh I know --I used it often, would recommend FLL ground transportation to anyone. Is there something similar at Charlotte airport?

There is bus service to uptown it runs about 25 minutes past the hour every hour til 6:25 p.m then it runs on the hour til 2:00 a.m
Bus 5 Airport.
I cannot remember where the pickup spot is located but I would assume baggage area. An airport attendant will be glad to assist you.
