The Internet transformation will begin this summer and will include speed increases on TWC residential Internet plans at no additional cost, with customers experiencing increases up to six times faster, depending on their current level of Internet service. For example, customers who subscribe to
Standard, formerly up to 15 Mbps, will now receive up to 50 Mbps,
Extreme, formerly up 30 Mbps, will now receive up to 200 Mbps;
Ultimate, formerly up to 50 Mbps, will receive up to 300 Mbps, at no extra charge.

This really blows the AT&T Uverse offering out of the water.
I have Extreme, so 200 Mbps sounds great. On the other hand, I'm pretty happy with my current speed so it probably makes sense to 'downgrade' to Standard, which will still be much faster than I have right now.
Although once I get a taste of 200 Mbps, I probably won't want to step backwards.
Time Warner seems to be trying to earn some goodwill with customers before the competition arrives. They recently gave me a pretty nice deal on the Extreme service plus I returned them their modem and bought my own from Amazon.
I have the Extreme internet and I won't complain about that speed jump...
