I have cpi for now 3 years. I no longer want there service. At the time we had sign up under stress. A big mistake. I am asking anyone who has had them and cnacelled there contract how do you go about doing it.

Here's a tip for the future and you may get more responses.

In your subject line, type something like "Security System Contract" or "Cancelling Security System Contract"


Oh, and have you called CPI to ask them about discontinuing the service?

I'd assume from reading other posts that you would be liable to pay the remainder of the monthly fees if you want to cancel. Best bet is to call CPI and talk directly with them.

I have to ask...why did you have to sign up under stress?

How long is your contract that it isn't up yet after 3 years? They might have a prorated cancellation fee for the remaining months etc, I would contact them and see.
