South Park traffic is already a mess. What's going to happen when all those new residences and office buildings come on line - all those extra cars. I'm generally in favor of higher density, but only if there is better public transport. South Park is still a very car-centric area. I have noticed they've recently improved the pedestrian walkways in the area (nice new no turn on red signs) but not many people walk in the area. It's a shame because one could live without a car one of those South Park apartments easily.

It might be just pure luck, but South Park traffic has gotten way better over the past decade in my opinion.... or maybe it's just because I'm so used to the traffic in Lake Norman Anything seems better

Sucks that the aquatic center on MLK in uptown will be closed for a year for renovations. The Marion Diehl aquatic center is nice but awkward since they have an emphasis on the elderly & special needs

I guess we know what age and abilities YOU are! The satisfaction is in your blinking twice...and YOU, too, will be elderly or disabled or BOTH. You won't remember this post when it happens, tho!
