i need help getting a job in charlotte. I know its everyones story.. but i have one of my own..
If you have a recruter you would like to reccommend please let me know..
Now on to my story, Im a single mother of three by choice, i work FT and my mom watches my kids,
i pay 1600+ per month in rent, my mom has a house in charlotte for free that me and my kids could live in if we could make it down there.. meaning.. me having a job and enrolling the kids in school.
basically i need a career so we cango back and fight to move..
where are you moving from? what do you do? what is your current career? put a resume together and make sure to use spell check and check your grammer! recruiters will only help if you are in a career that they work with for hard to fill jobs. look at monster or career builder, even go to company websites for openings.
Be persistent and be patient. It takes awhile. My husband looked for over 9 months before he found something. In our experience recruiters around Charlotte did nothing for us. Not one call. We were even told by Robert Half in Greenville, SC that Charlotte recruiters were famous for not wanted to send anyone from outside the area to interview. It's very frustrating.
In the end we did get a job but not in Charlotte. It wasn't our first choice anyway. This will take awhile so don't get discouraged.
