Just curious...where do wealthy people hang out in Charlotte?

I'm basically trying to find a clientele for my art business. But I don't want to sell for lowball prices. And the only people who can really afford to drop $6000 on a painting are rich, if I'm being realistic.

So where can I find these people???

Their million dollar homes. Followed by Myers Park Country Club and Quail Hollow CC. Plus their offices, of course...at least the husbands.

Miami is where you should be if you have art to sell.

If your being realistic, no place you simply walk into and find rich people, will they buy art off of you. Selling art is based on reputation, if you have none, they will go someplace else. You need to work up to wealthy clients who have the option to go anywhere, buy cultivating relationships with people who are not "dropping" $6000, but thoughtfully spending $6000, or $4K, etc..

but as to your question.. High End stores (Southpark Mall, Phillips Place) high end restaurants, and country clubs.

there's a wine shop in south park that features local artists. I worked next to it for years, and I forget the name. (im too lazy to google search it) you can do that it's in peidmont town center, go have a glass of wine talk to the owner

Donate a work of your art to a charity auction. You get to deduct the cost of the donation and you might get great name exposure. Think Children's Hospital, Charlotte Country Day, etc.

In the south, folks tend to entertain in their homes. Especially the wealthy. Or maybe at the club. Oh, I remember fondly the days past!
