Absolutely. These types of evenings are good for grilling, pool, etc. Truly great Carolina summer weather. Maybe because I'm native NC but did live up Norf and Midwest for a while and seems some years summer never arrived, so disappointing. I never won't to live anywhere there's the potential need for a jacket at night in June or July.,,,no way and God bless those who like that type of summer.

I've seen photos and video of people using snowblowers. They all look absolutely miserable to me.

Most of my fondest memories of my childhood and my life in general involve the Carolina summer you described!

Grilling, pool, barefoot, catching lightning bugs, playing outside till almost 10PM, finding a creek to play in, fishing, etc...

As miserable as someone is mowing a lawn in 95 degrees...

Well, the smart people mow it in the morning or evening after it cools back down. No such luck with snow. Cold is cold.

If you didn't like it here, then that fine with me. I commend you for moving back to the place that will make you happy. But there is no point in telling the rest of us about how bad the heat is. The people who live here can decide that for themselves.

Yup, the heat is giving me all sorts of problems.

I'm from NJ which by my standards is too warm. This place feels like the footsteps to hell the past few nights.
