Hi. Can anyone tell me which is the better community please! My husband and my 2 kids (boy 13 yrs and girl 6 yrs) are moving to Charlotte in a few weeks and I need some opinions. I have visited both areas but just for a day and can't tell by just a day how life really is. We will be renting a house so definitely want family-friendly neighborhoods.

Both communities look nice to me which is why I am so confused...

Any info is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Davis Lake, IMO. Homes are probably 10 years older, but lot sizes should be bigger with more mature trees. Homes have a higher cost per sq ft in Davis Lake.

Davis Lake is a great community. Community events take place. Pool. Mature trees and I think there are sidewalks on at least one side of the street. You see people walking for sure. Make sure your house is zoned for Croft Elementary since you have kids. I don't know the other community, but Davis like is in a great location with grocery nearby.
