Looking to get my haircut in Charlotte, any suggestions? Location doesn't matter and I would prefer not to pay anything over $30. Usually I go to great clips, etc. but figured I would try something else out to see if if I can get a better haircut. Usually get a side part. TIA.
Colonial Barber Shop in the Myers Park Shopping Center on Providence Rd. Todd, the owner, does a great job and the lady who works with him is also excellent.
Ultimate Barber Lounge at the boardwalk in University. I am not sure on your comfort level, but I enjoy it. Kareem is awesome, they use the a straight razor on your facial hair, hot towels, jokes all the time, and its really nice inside. The barbers there are all really good, the owner Tone is pretty well known, and there is another guy in there that has a counter for all of his trophies.
If you don't mind travelling, Waxhaw Barbershop is great. Cost is $12 ($10 if you're a senior)
