just moved in, need a good dentist please (Charlotte, Fairview: insurance, university)

I tried a dentist on S tryon Street near westinghouse (close where I live). They have a nice office and a tv on the top of the chair. But..... I walked in and told them I just want a regular cleanning. After 30 mins x-rays and 10 mins wait there, they asked me if I "want" to do 2 cannels plus possible crowns and deep clean (take 1 month to get them done) and even crazier after I told them I had a little trouble for my wisdom teeth last year once, they asked me if "I like" they can take all of four out! I send all my x ray I took there to my old town dentist, he must couldnot stop laughing now.

Please suggest me a good dentist. Thanks a million

I have a wonderful dentist to recommend. Dr. Clark Hammock, 202 E. Woodlawn, # 144. Wonderful hygienist and even the office manager is terrific! Dr. Hammock is a grad of Boston University and is married to a native - whose dad is also a dentist. So he is very interested in building a solid practice and not into creating work (wh/ is what it sounds like you just experienced).
