You can try the Peach Stand in Fort Mill. Otherwise, I'd direct you to the Farmer's Market in Matthews.

I'm pretty sure there is a honey vendor at the Regional Farmers Market near the airport. Great market in any event.

Matthews farmers market near Renfrows hardware in downtown Matthews.

I think on Tuesdays and Thursdays, there's a small farmers market on Rea rd near the Ballantyne Commons Pkwy intersection. I want to say it's called Robinson Farms shopping center? There's another similar one on meeting street near the intersection of Ardrey Kell and Johnston. Again on only certain days.

You can also buy local honey at Earth Fare or Grand Asia. The honey in earth fare is displayed right in front of the bulk bins. The honey at Grand Asia is on the bakery glass shelf in front of the cashiers. It's awesome for seasonal allergies and tastes great.

Renfrows Hardware also sells local honey.

I second the Regional Farmer's Market, however. It has a lot of local farmers with all sorts of protein, vegetables, honey etc.

Carolina Seafood Market (corner of Audrey Kell and Marvin) was advertising today that they sell honey from bees kept in Ballantyne. Not much more local than that.
