You could also consider homes around Highland Creek/Concord Mills area. Mallard Creek park is close by as well as the Mallard Creek/Stewart Creek Greenway. You would be minutes from URP campus & Reedy Creek park (via 485). There are 5 Harris Teeters,Aldi,Fresh Market, Trader Joe's,2 super Wally World's within the 15 minute range of this area

Anne Springs Greenway in Fort Mill just opened a lovely dog park about 5 months ago. There is a fee involved and you must have proof of vaccinations. Its really nice with woods, large pond for swimming and then some fenced areas for playing.

Ft Mill is south of Charlotte & is a good 45minute plus drive to University Research Park
