I was just visiting family in Chicago this weekend and had a fantastic dim sum, something I didn't realize I missed from my days in college in London.

Now I'm wondering if there's any comparable or good dim sum places in Charlotte one might stop over during lunch.

There's a place called Dim Sum Chinese Restaurant at 2920 Central Avenue. My wife and I both like it.

Dim Sum on Central Avenue is great. I *think* they only do the dim sum carts on weekends at lunch, but not positive.

Where Central Ave. dips down, aka.. The Central Dip, there is a great place there.

Dim Sum is very good. I enjoyed the Sunday Dim Sum brunch at Dragon Court as well.

If you want something not as pricey and maybe to take home, Grand Asia Market has some dim sum available.

Is that just past the water tower and right before the big oak tree?
