Good furniture stores in Charlotte
Anyone know of any (not too expensive) furniture stores in the Union/Mecklenburg areas?? I was looking for something like a Levitz, Seamans. Any suggestions would be great! TIA!

If you want to hit several furniture stores at the same time go to Carolina Place Pkwy in Pineville, NC (Boyles, La-Z-Boy, Rooms to Go, along with several others)
-Another store in the same area would be Tyndall Furniture in Pineville, NC
-There's also Value City Furniture in Charlotte (South Blvd).
-Just across the stateline in SC there are two more furniture stores in Rock Hill, SC (just off Interstate 77)
> Tinsley's Furniture
> Berry's Furniture
All the furniture stores listed above have their own websites if you need more information.
Have fun shopping!

Does Room 2 Go sell high quality furniture? On par with Thomasville or Ethan Allen?

I shop at rooms to go and feel like they are ok if you know you will buy a new couch or whatever every 6-7 years. Some of the new lines look to be better quality. As the saying goes... you get what you pay for

No, they don't. You should try Boyles. Purple Pickett has some beautiful things-but they are pricey. Ashley is on par with Levitz, I'd say.
I like Tyndall's because their furniture is made in the USA. Good people there, too.

I just heard on the radio this afternoon that the Purple Picket in Pineville was closing their doors. Apparently they will be having a large sale this weekend.
