I am relocating to Charlotte this summer. Looking to buy in either Skyecroft, Highgate, or Longview. Any thoughts??? Is Longview family friendly or a bit stuffy?

Also looking at private schools. Country Day, Latin and Providence. Any thoughts? What are the major differences? They all seem safe and seem to provide a quality education. Is that accurate?

Several families from my son's school live in Highgate. It seems really nice. The location is great. What grade level are you looking at for private school? Because if you can't get a spot at the "big three" private schools, I believe the public schools for Highgate are highly rated. There are also other private school options. Good luck.

I currently live in skyecroft and the community is fantastic! What are the home specs you desire? The weddington schools are rated well, but the big three are execellant. Good Luck!

I have friends in Longview and they say it is very family friendly. If you are interested in being on a golf course, Longview is the only one of the 3 you mentioned with golf. All 3 private schools you mentioned are great, Charlotte Latin would be the closest to all of those neighborhoods.
