Interesting thread from 2 years ago. Can anyone provide updates on what has happened in these neighborhoods? Just curious.

MI took over the remaining lots in Ardrey Woods just recently. I think it's great, a lot of people (buyers and real estate prof) like MI.

The Mallard Lake Community went to crap; when they left the price point was $190k to $240K. Some lots were sold to a builder that built 4 homes starting around $150K, now DR Horton is in there with home's starting around $140K, I am glad I got out when I did

I live in Monteith Place. Brentwood Homes came in , built 6 units and 2 slabs and left. We are now working to take over our HOA from them and are still waiting for a builder for the empty lots. Brentwood owns 1/2 the lots, Beazer the other half. The Town of Huntersville have been great to work with. Given our location, I think we'll be ok when the economy turns around. Good thing we don't mind staying in our house for awhile.
