For you cord cutters out there Heros & Icons went live a day or so ago on broadcast channel 46.3. It follows Buzzr that went on the air a few months ago on 55.2.

Most people in the area should be able to receive these stations with a simple UHF antenna pointed at Dallas, NC.

Yep, lovin' it. Haven't seen episodes of Mannix in decades. Don't miss the $175 month cable bill either.

Looks like H&I has a pretty good lineup. You may need to rescan to add this channel, depending upon your TV. It automatically appeared on my Samsung, which was already tuned for WJZY 46.1 and 46.2.

Most local channels now have one or two subchannels, sometimes three, which adds more variety in programming. All can be received with an antenna, but may not all be carried on cable. I personally prefer the retro channels MeTV and AntennaTV, and sometimes Grit channel 3.3 and Justice channel 36.2.

MeTV is on WCCB 18.3, but at my location I receive WSPA 7.2.

And I should add for religious programming, Jimmy Swaggart is on 55.3. Stiil singing, preaching, and playing that piano, now 80 years old. Very talented musician and great gospel music in the traditional southern style.
