He must have been smoking crack when he put Charlotte and Providence on the top 10 list.

I never knew Providence, RI was considered so awful, either. ???? Seems these rankings are written w/ a broad stroke. I am going to go sneak a peak at the RI board and see if anyone is discussing their misery there. Maybe do a comparison of our two cities and their misery quotient, LOL!!!!
Charlotte has problems. No doubt. Strained infrastructure due to growth that has spiraled out of control, IMHO. Maybe a negative article like this will slow down the influx.

Let them Rank Charlotte as the 9th most miserable city to live in. Maybe it will slow down the growth and we can enjoy our WONDERFUL city. Their loss!
Us long time reidents know better!

Exactly. After thinking about it, maybe that is the best thing. Let the infrastructure catch up, stop all the insane building . . . 7 oh 4 . . . think you are on to something.

Oh I'm more than familiar with that green layer that collects on the car, buildings, the road...

These magazines are pulling these rankings out of their a****. Yes, crime is high, the weather is great in winter and hot in summer. If you have a decent job and live in a decent community you will be fine here. These guys may as well throw darts to a board for what its worth....

I am sure this has been said but maybe this will make people think twice about comming down here for a while. As it is, we cannot catch up.
