This petition is asking the President to engage the Postmaster General & Congress directly to ask them to work on creating a new fundraising stamp from the USPS where the proceeds would be used to help Vets with PTSD. This works much like the Breast Cancer Stamp which has raised more than $97 million dollars since it was created.

We met with Officials in the White House June 6, 2014 & they supported the idea. In August 2014, we talked with the President about it at the American Legion Convention in Charlotte and he said keep up the good work. Earlier this year we talked with him in Charlotte about the effort again and he thanked us. Then in June of this year 56 Members of Congress wrote a letter to the USPS asking them to start on the project, the President saw that too! With 100,000 signatures we can finally get a response from the President.

With all this ISIS talk, more of our Service Members are going to be put in harms way once again. We need to make sure we prepare for them when they return home or at least be prepared to serve them in the future should the need arise. Watch what happens when we let American's know we are putting our Veterans first. This is about so much more than a little ole' Stamp!

If you would like to add your name in support please open a new browser and type in this domain: www.StampOutPtsd.com . We didn't want to include a clickable link because the White House could flag the IP address as spam.

This petition closes on November 27, 2015. We need your help, thanks!
