I just checked out the menu for Sante and it looks so good. I'm certainly going to try it.

We ate at McIntosh's in South End on Friday night and it was excellent. Great steak, amazing scalloped potatoes (their specialty), and apple pie to die for. I'd recommend a later reservation if you want to avoid children. There were a few there at 7, but all were very well behaved.

I noted, but forgot to mention that Sante has a children's menu for lunch, but not for dinner. A rather pointed hint, I'd say.

They have a nice romantic enclosed patio the with heat lamps.
The inside holds around 40-50 people.

Thia...you are describing Zebra Restaurant and Wine Bar to a "T". AAA Four Diamond, Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence, etc. You certainly won't find many/any kids there. It is a relatively small place and would definatetly be a quite dinner. This is a fantastic special occasion place! Located across the street from the SouthPark mall and has been around for quite a while now. A true "fine dining" establishment in the SouthPark area.

Dressler's is absolutely amazing and a perfect fit for what you're looking for. Of course, it's a little further north.
