We have been checking out the Ballantyne area and really like what we saw briefly so far. Anyone have an opinion on the nicest apartments there? We have only seen Camden Ballantyne and found a nice one there for about 1000 a month for a 2 bdrm. Anyone know how far the commute would be to uptown from there? Would it be quicker to take the Light Rail? Any suggestions/comments on the area would be great!!!!!! Thanks so much!

It would be about the same for the light rail, but light rail would be cheaper and easier. There is also a Ballantyne bus that goes to the light rail. C.A.T.S. has the schedules.

What about good family friendly housing communities in the Ballantyne area? I am looking for a 4 bedroom, 3 bath, approx 3000 sq feet home. My price range is $350,000-$400,000. A good elementary school is important as well.
