Default pastry / pie shops

I'm new to the area and I'm looking for suggestions of decent pie or pastry shops to visit. Thanks in advance.

Not many here. Try Trader Joe's! They have great pies.

I know the Carolina Bagel Co. cafe 704-545 2788, in Mint Hill sells pies from the Pie Safe.
Pies are not my thing so I have not tried them.

Also someplace that has not been mentioned (but they dont sell pies)

Decadent Designs Bakery on Elm Lane in the Ballantyne area has great ones but you have to order them. Little pricey but they are all made from scratch and not frozen or anything. I've had coconut, egg custard, bourbon pecan, apple, and pumpkin which are all excellent. Sometimes they have small tart-sized too. All of their stuff is good, though. Great eclairs
