Any apartments to recommend under $1,000 and how is the commute going into uptown, huntersville, university area and matthews? Any back roads to recommend as well?

In the neighborhood itself I am not sure there are any apartments. There are some outside of it on Ridge Rd, not sure on prices though. Commute to U. City is easy, Huntersville really easy, Uptown not bad, but not great, Matthews would be a long ride but its better now that 485 is done.

You wouldn't have any issues with 485 right there commute wise and here some apartments in your price range. The apartments are outside of HC. HC doesn't have any apartment complexes within the neighborhood. They are pretty new as well. They've been building the last 3 years or so.
