Have a 10 and 8 year old. Not looking to do something real late or anything but just something fun
for a few hours and be home early. Any ideas? Not to mention the weather is calling for rain so not sure anything can
be done outside.

Seriously though, how about going shopping for some fireworks and then setting up a display in the yard? Maybe build a fire and grill a couple hot dogs/hamburgers?

If all else fails, throw the kids in the car & drive them to Kings Mountain. New Years Eve is the last night of the light show on Battleground. It starts at 5:30. The town museum has the annual train set up. Check the Kings Mountain museum for hours.
