How do you know that the Publix#1556 is still on? I saw the For Sale signs that the property owners put up, where the store would be. The signs for the other brokers are gone off that property in front of the school, just the owners signs are up. So...
Publix #1556, The Shoppes at Hanfield Village, Indian Trail, North Carolina
Bidding has closed for the construction of Publix #1556 and the Shoppes at Hanfield Village. A bidder will be selected to contract the construction. Construction will start soon. It is what it is.
I drove by today, and while there was a new For Sale sign posted, the old signs that said Publix coming soon were still up as well. So fingers crossed everything is still moving along. I'd imagine construction would have to start soon, as Carolina Knight said.
Has Publix bought the property yet? If they haven't closed on the property yet then the property owners could sell their property. right? I hope Publix opens too but it has been up for sale a LONG time, I just figure the owners got tired of waiting and put it back up for sale. The landowners on Wesley Chapel Stouts Rd are not the same landowners and the ones on Old Monroe Road.
I had not seen any real estate closings, in the paper, on any of those properties around or on the site the Publix store was supposed to be going, so when the new signs went up I figured the landowners were trying to sell their property to another buyer. I probably would after being For Sale this long.
Publix #1556, The Shoppes at Hanfield Village, Indian Trail, North Carolina
The site where Publix #1556 was supposed to be going?! Publix, the developer, and the construction contractor(s) will disagree with you as they are moving forward with Publix #1556.
If there is to be a store #1556 the people who own the land would have to sell it, if you look at the site plans there are at least 7 landowners listed, they would have probably closed on their individual pieces of property by now. So IF there is supposed to be a store #1556, somebody has to purchase the land, you can't start construction until you own the land. That was just my assumption.
Found this online. It was last updated on 10/14/16. I think it is apparent that the project is moving along, just slower than was initially projected. Considering they are dealing with Indian Trail, that doesn't suprise me. The Shoppes at Hanfield Village
