I currently reside in NYC, I'm interesed in relocating to North Carolina for better living opportunties, however, finding employment is top priority before i do so. I don't know where to start. Please help. I have 7+ years of Accounts Payable/Staff Accountant/Office Support experience.

I have excellent communication & organizational skills. Excellent analytical and peoples skills. Capable of working under pressure, a fast learner and most of all a team player.

Thanks

I would suggest that you start by googling major companies in Charlotte, such as Bank of America, Wachovia, Time Warner Cable, BellSouth, Duke Power, Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, etc. and see if you can get on their websites and into their "career" or "job openings" page . . . and start applying for jobs.

Hope that helps - Good luck!

I didn't have a problem finding a job in AP. I worked for Duke Energy for a bit and then found something better. Try Aerotek Staffing or Pioneer.
