Good morning. The end of my first full week in Charlotte has arrived and I would like to celebrate it with a nice hearty breakfast of eggs, bacon, coffee, etc... Can anyone recommend a place like that somewhere near Harris & Mallard Creek Rd? Thank you!

I tried to stick with restaurants close to you location.

Brunch at Lava Bistro is pretty good - they have a buffet ($14.95pp) plus an extensive breakfast menu. Menu, Food, Quisine, Lunch, Dinner, Brunch (broken link)

Toast Cafe in Huntersville Toast Cafe

Original Pancake House The Original Pancake House

Showmars has a pretty decent breakfast Showmars Restaurants of America

The Landmark Diner off Central Ave has a huge menu and breakfast served all day

It's only about a mile away...it's right over on the other side of 277 by the new Target and Homer Depot. There's also another (better) OPH by South Park mall. They stay open for dinner too.

Which one in Det did you go to? We used to frequent the one on the border with Grosse Pointe.

I go to the 10 mile one now...used to go to the GP one ALL THE time when we lived on jefferson in downtown...

occasionally go to the one in B'Ham.

I had my GPS with me but since it drove me to the South End one, I figured the new address wasn't updated and I hadn't figured out where the new Target was yet. I found out in the afternoon after I left CPCC...

But speaking of Target - I went inside to the Home Depot - I LOVED IT - I wanted to renovate a house IMMEDIATELY! :-)

Just a heads up, every GPS I have seen is ridiculously out of date when it comes to restaurants.
