Kristen, just be aware, most homes you would look at in the South Park area have already been updated and rennovated - this is an area of steady appreciation, not one where people go in and find an old home to "fix up".

I guess a few areas toward the outside of the South Park area could be assigned there, but most go to either Carmel Middle or Alexander Graham - both good middle schools

with your budget you can look in begining or end of Union County, depending on who u talk to..lol my dd goes to doctors in south Park and it takes us from Hunter Oaks which is on the border of S.Charlotte/Ballantyne 25 minutes...so you would be in your 30 minute commute...there are alot of homes in here in your price range..and the homes are newer within the last 6 years and younger...if you dont have the site already go to CarolinaHome.com

you can browse by subdivision, and price etc...its updated every day and is accurate as to what is on the market..You can also check out all areas of Charlotte thru this site as well...

good luck...and the schools here are Rea View Elem, brand new just opened in Fall of 2007 excellent school...

You should contact a good realtor if you haven't already. Let him/her know exactly what you're looking for so that they can start the search process for you. If you need suggestions IM me.

Default Did you find a home?

Canterbury Place is a great neighborhood, and it back up to Providence Plantation. The pool memberships there are open to the public, and if you are off of Bridle Brook or Donnegal Farm Roads, you can walk right to the pool on Keara.

This also goes to the Providence Schools, which is great. The neigbors are also nice.
