I thought the same thing and was going to suggest going to Bryson City where we used to go to tube on the Nantahala River. I also wondered about it being a little cold. But then I recall that when my son was in college in Connecticut he brought his roommates (from Buffalo and Montana) to the sunny south to go river tubing the first week in March. They nearly froze to death.

Have fun snow tubing and I was here thinking what did I do last Valentines day and now I remember snow tubing. We started off skiing but Pookie said never again they was sore for days.
And I was the one that ran into a tree on one ski (I hit it slowly) the hard part was getting out of that hole and going up hill to retrieve that ski.

Barbj you just gave a thread idea since talking about water tubing would be off topic.
