Hi guys. Me and my fiance are moving from Houston to Charlotte in June and we wanted some advice. We have not gotten the chance to visit the city yet so have no experience in what the city has to offer (we are moving due to a job transfer) aside from research we did online. We will both be working in downtown Charlotte and are looking for a pet friendly area that is not terribly far from the city.
We have two dogs - a 65 lb golden retriever and a 25 lb Swedish Vallhund. Ideally we are looking for a house to rent so we can have a backyard, but are having some difficulties due to pet restrictions. Do you a know a good source / real estate company that deals with housing rentals we could contact to help us find something? (Kind of like an apartment locator for houses if that exists down there) We have something like this in Houston, not sure about Charlotte though.
Or if not, know any good apartments that have a dog park/pet area/or park/greenery nearby? That is also not too far from downtown? (If that exists?!)
Thanks! Appreciate the help. Our combined income is about 180K so we can afford something around $2,200 a month for rent. We are in our mid 20's.
