I'm in my 50's and considering moving to Charlotte from Illinois because I've always lived in Illinois and would like to live in a more scenic city with slightly slower living. How is the job market? I am an executive assistant. What is the typical age demographic in the area? Good for singles?

Charlotte has a younger and more family-oriented demographic than you are probably accustomed to. I can only guess at what town you live in, but I sent you a comparison report from another web site. Please see you private message mailbox.

I am guessing that it would be fairly tough to find a good dating scene for 50-ish singles. Also fairly tough to find a job when you are competing with a pool of much younger applicants. I suggest using Glassdoor.com to estimate what your job would pay in Charlotte.
