Central Piedmont Community College is doing the popular musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at 8:00 on the evening of the 15 and 16th. CPCC is right on the edge of uptown, very convenient.

Or for the kids check out this cute play "If You Give a Pig a Party" at the Childrens Theater. This is a great little venue for kids. The play starts at 11:00 I believe on Saturday the 16th but do check their website to be sure if you are interested. Children's Theatre of Charlotte

Default This weekend

I don't know about winter activities, You'll have to get "Used" to the nice weather here in Charlotte. This weekend it will be in the mid to upper 50's and the mid 60's on Moday You might want to Check out the White Water center about 15 minutes outside of town. It's a real nice place with, rafting, kyaking, hiking trails and a nice outdoor restaurant. A stroll through uptown will be very nice also. You'll get a real feel on how nice the downtown area is. Best of luck enjoy your stay

Discovery Place is under renovation and only a part of it is open. When the entire place is open it is a great place to take the kids to!

Rays Splash Planet is an indoor water park located in Uptown Charlotte.

ImageOn is also located Uptown.

I would suggest staying Uptown where you can walk to just about everything you need!
