Okay, so I like Chinese food buffets. Does anybody know where any good ones are? The chinese food restaurants that I have found so far in South Charlotte have been very marginal. Any suggestions appreciated.

The way you can tell this place is good...as a "white guy", I am normally outnumbered by asians 10:1!

Funny you should ask. We just hosted some Chinese Exchange students and took them to several Chinese Restaurants and Buffets over the course of two weeks. The best one was Tin Tin.

But, the Asians would know good authinic Asian food. When I live in London, I would only eat in Chinese restaurants where most of the customers were Chinese. But I have to admit, Americans do spice up some ethnic foods to make them better. A perfect example is TexMex. Mexican food tastes much better in Texas than in Monterey.

Tin Tin, definitely. We tried 2 or 3 others in the area, still like Tin Tin best.

My vote definitly goes to Chen's in University City.

Chen's Bistro
230 E WT Harris, 28262
Chen's Bistro

Lotus is also pretty good, but its decor is not as nice as Chen's (not that that really matters)

Lotus Buffet
9605 N Tryon St # H
