I will be in Charlotte for a few days and someone recommeded that I take my 6yo daughter to this drop-in daycare while I attend meetings. Anybody know anything about it? Would you/have you taken your child there? Thanks!

They're now closed. Their voice mail states that they will not be reopening in 2009.

Our son LOVED it there. Unfortunately, it was evident that they were having problems.

I'm not totally sure, but their (former) Concord location closed not too, too long after it opened, and the amount of kids seriously started to dwindle after the summer (we took our son their on the weekends, and there would be no more than five kids there a lot of the time).

As far as I know, there is no other drop-in place in South Charlotte. That makes me sad.

Maybe someone else will capitalize on their closing and bring out another similar place.
