Default Drought in Charlotte area?

I have seen a lot written about drought conditions in this area. How is effecting everyday life? Do they expect it to get better?

and, High fines if you get caught watering your lawn. Some try to be sneeky and water at night, but they usually get caught. Hopefully, we won't always have this dull brown landscape. Anyone, know how to do the rain dance????

We are under water restrictions, however, we are getting rainfall. Things are improving. It will be rough this year with the grass planting and watering. I don't have the lastest numbers but I think we are above average this year.

Rain dance? Heck yeah. I have been doing one regularly. And it works. Didn't you notice? I made it rain the other day.

The natural local infrastructure just cannot support the amount of people who have moved here. No one wants to admit it, but it is what it is.

This is definitely part of the problem, but it would not have been so apparent if we had not experienced this record-breaking drought. The huge influx of people, year after year, has been a strain on the entire infrastructure as you said . . . including roads/highways, school systems, sewer (water run off due to more sq. ft. of concrete) and yes, water system.

Hmmmm. Well guess I ought to gear the rain dance towards Texas, then. Please, send it on . . .

We are 14 inches down from last year and about 3 inches down this year it will take some time to recover from this record drought. A good hurricane this summer would help out alot. However the last time we was in drought we received record rain fall in 2003.
March tends to be a rainy month so dance away for that.

Is the dance Jump to left then a step to the right, with your hands on your hips, and bring in the knees in tight.
