Default Anyone with their house for Sale, have showings picked up?

Has anyone had more showings on their houses for sale lately? I have had my house for sale since Thanksgiving, and have only had 1 showing. Just wanted to know if anyone else was having any luck selling. We are competing with all the new construction still.

You should also consder a free blogspot, and youtube, and city-data.com Classified Ads

blogspot will allow you go in detail of the homes and provide extra pictures.
Rename your photos to keywords to find your home for instance it could be name dxn2311 name it South Charlotte home (example) Searchers like me search by photos.

Youtube if done with right background music will be able to give a potential buyer more of a real feel for the home.

city data Classified Ads even though that forum runs different than other forums that it may appear no one is looking but it index into google instantly make sure use photos here and no commercial links. Be very descripti\ve in your title and thread.
Try think if you are a potential buyer what words will they use in google to find your home.

Good luck

Myself and everyone I've spoken with has seen a drastic increase in activity lately around the South Charlotte, Fort Mill, Lancaster, Lake Wylie, and Rock Hill areas.

Matthews, Mint Hill as well.

My good friend and neighbor has been for sale (south Charlotte inside hwy 51) about 3 weeks - she has gotten about 15 showings and has been told an offer may be coming after this weekend - woo hoo for her I think you hit the nail on the head - if you are in an area where there is still much new construction going on it will take a bit longer right now to sell your home. In some areas of the city without new construction things seem to be picking up.

Huge increase in phone calls over the last few weeks and we're FSBO. We haven't shown because we are off the market, but I know for certain that people are coming out of the woodworks. I've gotten more calls over the last few weeks than I did from August-December. There is still new construction in Heritage Green so it seems it was the market scare more than anything else that slowed potential buyers down.

We sold our house in a month,The Real Esate agent said we would. It was a great home, all fixed up and a realistic price in this market.
Too many people are not realistic with their price. We would have gotten $60,000 more when the market was high.
Good luck.Set a fair price.

My home has been on the market for about 4 weeks. We have had 1 showing so far, we are in the luxury range and I think it may be a slower market. I expected it to be a "sitter" for awhile. It's OK we live in a beautiful home I am just itching to make the move "down under".
