I haven't checked the Gaston Gazette recently. Honestly, I'm more interested in when Wow Supermarket will open. They've had some legitimate delays.
Considering that the public kept protesting zoning changes to allow a new Teeter & the zoning board passing it the 3d time over the protests, I'm not surprised that there's been silence.

Appreciate the reply . When it comes to store openings, H.T's website contains broken links, and they never replied to my email.
Last time I passed the store, they had their signage all done up...looks like it will be a nice store - even by H.T's standards.
(H.T. stocks Italian butter cookies from NYC. Reasonably priced when they're not on sale, and a steal when Teeter has a special. And they're great )

As to Ingles, I try to shop them often, but they're a bit of a ride. I like their produce and baked goods...haven't tried their meat yet.
You're welcome. I check for specifics at the library. I searched for Harris Teeter & got that link. There was also another, seemingly unrelated, article that had a mention in it that Teeter grand openings are announced 2 weeks out.
I don't know about you, but the pizza place seems odd to me. Flavored crust . . .
I asked about Ingles because my take on the stock is that it combines MidAtlantic, Midwestern, & Southern items. Being so big, the stores can carry a lot of stock.
I wonder how the Dallas Ingles stays in business. It's such a huge store for a small town, and usually uncrowded. And it's a standalone Ingles, no other smaller stores anchored adjacent to it.
The Food Lion there is a major step back in time... it's so small it reminds me of 1970s markets like "Sav-Way".
I'm also a little mystified why Wal*Mart put a neighborhood center on 279/321 when it's so close to the Wal*Mart on Myrtle in west Gastonia.
