Anyone know anything about the area My development will be about 5 miles away from it. I know Wesley Chapel and Waxhaw are close by so I guess I will do my shopping there instead. Waxhaw and Weddington just seem so different from Monroe yet they are so close.

I just heard there are certain parts to avoid.

We are having a home built in Monroe near the Rolling Hills Country Club. We recently spent several weeks in the area and liked it very much. I also heard there are "bad" parts of Monroe but coming from New York it all looked good to me.

Default haha

That is so true. I think their definition of bad just means country! I spent a lot of time in philly, NYC and baltimore so I feel pretty safe down there. The one thing I did hear a lot about though was car and home break in's. We plan on getting a security system. I am just use to them. We have one up here as well.

I stumbled upon Rolling Hills a few days ago ... WOW. Lovely, lovely area. The homes were so stately. Congratulations!

Sincerely,

SL
